Seniors Ministry

Our Seniors Ministry seeks to be a vibrant group who gather to foster a sense of community by providing opportunities for fellowship based on kingdom matters. Through that community we hope to be a source of encouragement and strength for all who participate.

SENIORS LUNCH (Monthly)
The first (1st) Wednesday of every month the Senior’s Ministry hosts a lunch. While we provide chicken, we also ask that everyone bring an entrée or dessert to share. After the lunch, a program of music, devotions, prayer and games are provided.

SENIORS MOVIE (Monthly)
On the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month the seniors gather at the church to enjoy a movie together. Bring your own lunch and join the time of fellowship before moving into the sanctuary to enjoy the movie.

SENIORS BIBLE STUDIES (Weekly)
The Seniors Ministry meets for a Bible Study at Calvary Bible on Thursday afternoons at 1:00pm. There is also a Tuesday evening study that meets in a home at 7:00pm.

 
WAYS YOU CAN SERVE

Planning Committee – Help to plan events and activities that will reach out to our seniors. We are open to new people and new ideas.

Communication — Work with the Seniors Ministry Team and the Church Staff to promote the various events to ensure that our seniors are informed of the various activities available to them.

Teach/Lead — Teaching or leading a devotional or Bible study for seniors (membership required).
